Individual Therapy

I provide individual therapy for adults, aiming to create a welcoming and safe space that promotes healing and growth.

In my practice, I am dedicated to delivering culturally sensitive care and working with individuals of differing ethnicities and races, gender and sexual identities, and abilities. I aspire to tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique needs and preferences. I prioritize building a trusting relationship with my clients, where they feel comfortable expressing themselves and exploring their emotions.

As your psychologist, I will work collaboratively with you where I serve as a guide, helping you navigate the complexities of your inner world and supporting you in finding your own path towards self-discovery and personal fulfillment.

In the initial session with a client, I focus on building rapport and gathering information on the client’s background, past experiences, and current challenges. I aim to get an understanding of the client’s treatment goals, thereby laying the groundwork for a productive therapeutic path.

Follow-up sessions are where the client and I dive into exploring the client’s inner self. During this work, I will incorporate techniques derived from empirically-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). While guiding clients in working through their thoughts, emotions, and behavioral experiences, I aim to help clients learn how to live a more meaningful life. Our sessions are not just about addressing immediate issues but also about equipping you with the tools and strategies needed to navigate future challenges successfully. I empower you to become your own agent of change and help you develop lasting skills that promote long-term well-being.
